Waste Reduction
Reduce Reuse Recycle
The basic principles for reducing the environmental impact of your waste are simple:
1. Reduce your use where possible (e.g. choosing products with less packaging)
2. If you can't reduce your use, can you Reuse something that would otherwise have become waste? (e.g Funky Junk)
3. If reduce and reuse are not options, can you Recycle (e.g. sorting out your recyclables for the recycle bin)?
Food-waste
Composting is a natural process that breaks down organic material into a nutrient-rich, soil-like material which is great for the garden!

You can find more about methods and benefits of composting
here, and there is a downloadable guide to composting
here.
Funky Junk
