Eco Xmas
Give a gift to the planet this Xmas.
- Tauranga Environment Centre's top tips for a green christmas:
Christmas is a time to share love with our families and friends and take time to enjoy ourselves after working hard all year. In our consumer society is has also become a time of excess and over-consumption which puts further pressure on Mother Earth's resources.
We can all have a great festive season without furthering our negative impacts on the planet. Giving gifts is a longstanding tradition but it does not have to be about spending money, its the effort and time you put into making gift giving special.
